The large window and the view was perfect: the room overlooked the auditorio nacional, a beautiful building surrounded by a park, and on the Sunday that we were there, the Independence Day parade. Awesome! The location of the hotel, in Polanco, was terrific. The atmosphere of the hotel lobby was welcoming, and well designed. The room was as expected from a five star plus hotel: it was well designed, a well-appointed room. What was special was the soft lighting in the shower. This was very helpful to senior guests, needing a midnight trip to the bathroom. The hand-heldable shower head was convenient when taking a shower. It was great. The breakfast was consistently excellent. The staff were all courteous, helpful and friendly, and spoke to us in English, unless we started the chat in Spanish, they were accommodating. The feeling of being safe in and around the hotel. Thanks to the security staff, and the Mexico City Police. With the latter's supervision of the area we managed to stroll back to the hotel, at night, after an event at the Tamayo museum. It was a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. A big thank you the management and all the staff of El Presidente Intercontinental!

We loved the location, the rooms, the facilities but especially the staff. They went above and beyond in everything. The concierge desk was extremely helpful in booking tours, helping with reservations, explaining directions. We can’t thank Alfredo and the rest for so much support. Also, there was a concert and the front desk moved us to the other side so we wouldn’t be bothered by the noise with no push back and complete respect. Even a doorman, Edgar, would take time to share information about the history of Mexico and the many ruins in the country. Once he knew our interests we had numerous conversations and we never felt unimportant. It was a very positive experience and the only place we’d stay in CDMX. Also the neighborhood of Polanco is beautiful, easy to walk and safe. So many attractions close by!

Beautiful hotel and room in a great Polanco location, overlooking the park and easy walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and shops. The staff was great, even helping us find a lost item in the gym (which we used many times) and directing us to numerous local spots for coffee, drinks, etc. There are great restaurants in the hotel, and you can get an excellent at Chapulin. We would definitely stay here again.
